Two hurt in crash on I-44

Two Oklahoma residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 44 near Halltown over the weekend.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday when the driver of a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu, Ralph K. Hagerman, 53, of Lockwood, tried to change into the left lane and struck the side of a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Charles R. Kayser, 57, of Tulsa, Okla. Both vehicles lost control and struck the guardrail.

Kayser and a passenger in the vehicle, Brenda S. Kayser, 55, of Tulsa, Okla., were taken to Cox Hospital South in Springfield with minor injuries.
