The bodies of Rebecca Porter, 46, and her husband, Russell "Rusty" Porter, 34, the couple from Willard missing since April have been found dead in Taney County, near the town of Protem.

Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott announced today the discovery of the bodies. An autopsy is planned for Monday.

Rebecca Porter is the sister of Monett contractor Jim Hufft. Word reached the family Friday morning that the bodies were found yesterday. Arnott held a news conference at 2:30 p.m. today to release details to the public.

Hufft said he is certain the deaths are the result of foul play.

The Porters were found missing from their home on April 18 after Rebecca Porter failed to arrive at work. The family home was unlocked, the lights were on and the security system had been disabled.

The case is being investigated by the Greene County Sheriff's Department. Anyone with any information about the Porters or any sightings is asked to call 417-868-4040.
