The Summer Reading Club's next event will be a "Pet Parade and Show & Tell" on Wednesday, June 22 at 3:30 p.m. Children are invited to bring either a friendly pet or a stuffed animal to parade around the library. Stories and a "Show and Tell" will also be part of the fun!

New adult fiction titles available at the Monett Branch Library include: "Long Drive Home" by Will Allison; "Comanche Magic" by Catherine Anderson; "Summer Rental" by Mary Kay Andrews; "A Time to Heal" by Barbara Cameron; "Hawaiian Crosswinds" by L.L. Chaikin; "The Summer We Came to Life" by Deborah Cloyed; "The Kingdom" by Clive Cussler; "Hit List" by Laurell K. Hamilton; "A Sandhills Ballad" by Ladette Randolph; "Outrage" by Robert Tanenbaum; and "The Snowman" by Jo Nesbo.

New non-fiction titles include: "The Complete Idiot's Guide to World Religions" by Brandon Toropov; "Bonhoeffer" by Eric Metaxes; "On China" by Henry Kissinger; "A Father's Love" by David Goldman; "The Terrorist Next Door" by Erick Stakelbeck; "The Seed" by Jon Gordon; "Lost in Shangri-La" by Mitchell Zuckoff; "Smart Blonde: Dolly Parton" by Stephen Miller; and "Through My Eyes" by Tim Tebow.

New youth titles include: "Me!" by Jim Benton; "Abandon" by Meg Cabot; "Thea Stilton and the Star Castaways" by Edizioni Piemme; "The Throne of Fire" by Rick Riordan; and "Phantom of the Auditorium" by R.L. Stine.

New DVDs include: Birdie & Bogey, Chihuahua the Movie, The Green Hornet, Nature: The Silence of the Bees, and Sky King.
