Starwalk Entertainment, of Oak Grove, Ark., recently hosted an event at the Monett City South Park, "Jump for Joplin." The company set up inflatables under the F-4 Phantom jet veterans memorial next to the city park lake.

This was a free event for the community of Monett and the surrounding area to contribute to the city of Joplin following the tornado. Donations of $400 were collected to be given to the Convoy of Hope.

One-half of a trailer was filled with a bed, couch, shoes, water and numerous other items. There was live music for two days and also entertaining was an 18-foot dolphin slide, a junior bounce, snow cones and cotton candy.

"We are so thankful to Monett residents," said Amanda Dotson, owner of Star Walk Entertainment. "We hope to come back soon and contribute more towards this cause."
