Numerous wrecks in the bi-county area sent four people to area hospitals.
The first occurred at 2:55 p.m. on Route F eight miles southeast of Cassville. When a 2000 Buick Regal, driven by Teresa R. Hostetler, 24, of Green Forest, Ark., traveled into the path of a 2001 Dodge Intrepid, driven by Ronnie R. Tollison, 63, of Eagle Rock, impacting the driver's side head-on.
A passenger in the Tollison vehicle, Danny R. Tollison, 30, was taken by ambulance to St. John's Hospital-Cassville with minor injuries. All of the parties involved were wearing seat belts.
* A single-vehicle wreck at 9 p.m. on Highway 97 one-half mile south of Stotts City sent a Mt. Vernon man to Cox Monett Hospital.
The crash occurred when the driver of 2007 Harley Davidson, Karl S. Kalbaugh, 44, struck a deer and ran off the right side of the road.
Kalbaugh received minor injuries in the wreck.
* A single-vehicle wreck at 10:20 p.m. yesterday on County Road 1040 two miles south of Exeter resulted in two people injured.
The wreck occurred when a 1992 Ford F150, driven by Alisha D. Clark, 16, of Exeter, slid off the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. The passenger, Dalton T. Horn, 12, of Exeter, was ejected.
Horn was airlifted to Cox Hospital South in Springfield with serious injuries. Clark was taken by private vehicle to St. John's Hospital-Cassville with minor injuries. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
