Bank robber sought

On June 3 at about 4:30 p.m., a white male wearing a fake mustache and
 beard entered the Regions Bank in Mount Vernon, demanding cash from the teller.

The white male is
 described as 5-feet 10-inches in height with a thin build and brown hair. The subject was wearing a
 jacket. The suspect male brandished a bolt-action firearm during the incident.

The suspect gave the clerk a Wal-Mart plastic bag, which the teller filled with an undisclosed amount of money. The clerk stated the subject
 was very calm during the robbery. The subject fled on foot.

The Barry-Lawrence chapter of Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the robber. Tipsters may remain anonymous. Those having information on the crime may call 354-TIPS (8477) or toll-free at 888-635-TIPS (8477).
