The American Red Cross will host a blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. on Monday, June 20 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett, located on 405 Seventh St. The blood drive will help with the Joplin recovery.

A spaghetti dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on June 16 at the American Legion Hall in Monett, located at 717 E. Broadway. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under the age of 12. Carryouts are available. Proceeds will to toward the Legion youth programs.

A benefit dinner for Breann Weatherly will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 25 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City. Spaghetti, salad, rolls, desserts and tea will be served with a pie auction beginning at 6 p.m. For more information or to donate food items, call 417-548-7400.

The First Christian (Disciples of Christ) Church, of Monett, will sponsor a garage sale on Saturday, June 18. The event will be held in the church basement on Fourth Street. Proceeds will go toward the Margaret Isbell Memorial Scholarship Fund.

A meet and greet for representatives of Kemin Industries, which purchased two of American Dehydrated Foods' operations in Verona, will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10 at Verona City Hall. The public is invited to attend.

The annual Bailey-Funk family reunion will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 12 at the Monett City Park Casino. There will be a pot luck dinner and family and friends are invited.

The Linebarger reunion will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 12 at the Purdy Community Center. A basket lunch will be served at noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

The Arnhart Cemetery Association request all flowers to be removed by June 13 so normal mowing may resume.

The 51st annual reunion of the descendants of D.P. and Clementine (Gaydou) Courdin will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 12 at the Monett City Park Casino. The event will begin with a covered dish luncheon. Family members and friends are invited to attend.

Monett Special Road District will meet at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 13 in the conference room at Monett City Hall. The meeting is open to the public.

The First United Methodist Church, of Monett, will be hosting "church in the park" beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 12. The service will be located at the bandstand, next to the swimming pool, in the South Park. A meal will follow. The church will be hosting a come and go reception honoring Pastor Clif Crockett from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 12 in the fellowship hall at the church, located at 1600 N. Central. The public is invited to attend.
