Relay raises thousands for fight against cancer

The survivors who attended Saturday night's Relay for Life in Monett selected the winner of the night's Best Campsite Award. The team from Monett Elementary School, pictured above, won the honor for their NFL-themed site. Pictured from left, are: Carrie Smith, Becky Potter, Jan Jenkins and Tabitha McDonald. The MES team was one of 18 that participated in the 2011 Relay event. Teams set up campsites all around the track at the Burl Fowler Stadium, offering food, games and a place to gather with friends and teammates. [Order this photo]

Emma Faye and her sister, Helen Ruscha, served as survivorship co-chairs.
