   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady and slaughter bulls
sold steady to 1.00 lower. A high percent of the offering went to slaughter.
Most bred cows traded were in the second stage and there was a light supply
of cow/calf pairs. Storms and rain over the area this past week and continu-
ing today have made hay harvest next to impossible. Supply and demand were
moderate for slaughter classes.
Note: There will be no cow and bull auction next Monday may 30th due to the
Holiday.
