EFCO Corporation, a Pella Company, based in Monett, has reached out to help another industrial window manufacturer hit by the F5 tornado that tore through Tuscaloosa, Ala., on April 27.

Coral Industries employed around 400 people at its Tuscaloosa facility. The tornado completely destroyed the company's architectural division, but Coral's main plant survived the storm. Many of Coral's employees lost their homes in the storm.

In an effort to help a friend in the industry, EFCO Corporation purchased clothing, toiletries and general supplies for those in need. Additionally, the Pella Rolscreen Foundation is donating $5,000 to the Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Fund on behalf of Coral Industries.

"Our hearts and prayers go out to the people of Coral Industries and all of the others affected by the recent severe storms across the South," said Mike Farquhar, EFCO president. "EFCO proudly provided personal supplies and a gift from the Pella Rolscreen Foundation to help the people of Coral Industries in their time of need."
