* The Monett Monsters beat Mt. Vernon #2 11-1 Tuesday night. Gage Brown was the pitching star for the Monsters. Brown allowed one run in four innings. Twice, Brown worked out of bases-loaded jams to keep Mt. Vernon #2 in check. Defensively, Lane Witt, Ryan Welch and Brian Parra-Navarro all made stellar plays in the field. At the plate, Jake Bouchard extended his hitting streak to four games with a double.

* Cassville #3 beat Monett #3 10-9. Monett battled back to tie the game in the top of the fourth inning, only to see Cassville score one run in the bottom of the inning for the win. Jedd Anderson was the Monett pitcher with Luke Channel catching.

* Cassville #3 defeated Monett #3 18-3 in game two. Cassville's bats woke up in this game, and they put the game away in the second and third innings. Monett played hard, but it wasn't enough for this game. Dereck Morrison, Darian McCracken and Trent Staudt pitched for Monett with Jedd Anderson catching. Monett turned a thrilling pitcher to first to home double play during the game.

* The Monett Gun and Pawn defeated Sarcoxie #1 12-1 Tuesday night. Natalie Turner had two base hits, including a double. Nalley Martinez added a triple and three RBI. Taylor Southard and Kinzey Stellwagen added a single and RBI apiece. Abby McCaffrey and Caitlyn Calhoun tallied an RBI each. Kylie Knight added three base hits, and Kate Huntress recorded one base hit and two RBI.
