   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 2.00-4.00 lower with the
greatest decline on some high-dressing breaking and boning cows. Slaughter
bulls sold steady. There was a moderate supply of bred cows with most in the
2nd stage and the supply of cow/calf pairs was very light. Warmer weather
moved into the area over the weekend and dryer conditions encouraged a few
to lay down some hay. Supply and demand were moderate for slaughter classes.

Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2 yrs to short and solid mouth mostly 2nd
and few 3rd stage 940-1340 lbs 900.00-1110.00, 1st stage couple 1225-1335 lbs
925.00-1060.00; short and solid mouth to aged 2nd and 3rd stage 1115-1240 lbs
