Man hurt in ATV accident

A Monett man received moderate injuries in an all-terrain vehicle crash on Saturday a half mile east of Monett.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Raymond Collins, 42, was driving a 1993 Polaris 350 ATV south on Farm Road 2230 in Lawrence County shortly before 9 p.m. when he made a left turn into a gravel lot. The ATV overturned and struck a fence.

Collins, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Cox Monett Hospital for treatment.

* A Golden man received moderate injuries in a motorcycle crash at 6:40 p.m. on Saturday a half mile east of Golden. George Boehm, 42, was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson west on Farm Road 2278 when the motorcycle left the roadway and overturned. Boehm, who was wearing a helmet, was flown to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
