   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher 
with most of the gain coming from the 85-90% Lean cows.  Slaughter bulls
sold steady to 1.00 lower.  The supply of bred cows and cow/calf pairs
was moderate, supplemented by some farm fresh offerings.  Supply of 
slaugher cows and bulls was light to moderate.  Demand was good early
in the sale and moderated as the day progressed.

1125 lb black cows with 325 lbs calves topped the market at 1675.00.  
Large 1-2  5-6 yrs 1200-1300 lbs cows with calves to 200 lbs 1235.00-
1300.00, pkg 5 yrs 1500 lbs cows with 100 lbs calves 1460.00.  Medium 1-2 
3-6 yrs 850-1000 lb cows with calves to 125 lb 1050.00-1200.00; 7 yrs to 
broken mouth 780-1025 lbs cows with calves to 100 lbs 885.00-1000.00.
