The Purdy Eagles will play in the district semi-finals after defeating College Heights 66-48 Tuesday night.
The Eagles led 24-18 after one quarter of play and 42-25 at halftime.
"I thought we shared the ball extremely well tonight," said Purdy Head Coach Tommy Egan. "Overall, we also took better quality shots than we have in the last couple weeks. In turn, we shot the ball a lot better from the field. It was a solid win for us, and we are happy to advance to the next round and get a chance to continue playing."
Landon Terry led Purdy in scoring with 14 points. Also scoring for the Eagles were: Devon Bennett, 12 points; T.J. Farris, 8 points; Drew Williams, 6 points; Kevin Miller, 5 points; Alex Haworth and Riley Veith, 4 points each; and Garen Nelson and Josh Antle, 2 points apiece.
Purdy plays Wheaton in the district semi-finals tonight. Tipoff is slated for 9 p.m.
Wheaton has defeated Purdy 65-51 and 56-50 in the teams two conference meetings.
