Verona School Board members discussed replacing the business classroom at the high school that collapsed when snow fell off the new gymnasium roof on Feb. 5 during the board's February meeting.
Superintendent William Sweet recognized those who offered help in response to the collapse. Hillhouse responded with heavy equipment to move the debris. Linco, a Verona-based electrician firm, and Doty Trash Service also responded quickly. Mike and Vonda Kissinger taped off the building site at 1:30 a.m. then returned to help through the following day.
