Acting on a tip of possible drug activity, officers with the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department went to the home of a Miller man, where officers discovered a marijuana-growing operation.
Officers responded at about 5 p.m. on Monday evening to a call at the home of Jason Krempges, located on Highway DD, one-and-a-half miles east of Miller. They executed a "knock and talk" regarding the drug allegations. Upon arrival, the owner answered the door and essentially "gave up," said Lawrence County Sheriff Brad DeLay.
