   Compared last Monday, slaughter cows sold 2.00-3.00 higher and slaughter
bulls sold 3.00-4.00 higher. There was a moderate supply of bred cows and a
light supply of cow/calf pairs with the demand very good for both. Supply
was moderate and demand very good for slaughter classes.

Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd
stage 985-1360 lbs most 950.00-1175.00, several pkgs. black and black white
face 1225.00-1250.00, 1st stage few 1285-1340 lbs 810.00-875.00; short and
solid mouth to aged 2nd and 3rd stage 1065-1220 lbs 760.00-900.00. Large 1-2
2 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 1260-1675 lbs 950.00-1175.00.
Medium and Large 2  6 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 1080-

pkg. 1300 lb cows w/350 lb calves and all rebred 1375.00. Large 1-2  4-7
yrs 1400-1480 lb cows w/160-340 lb calves 1410.00-1425.00. Medium and Large
2  4 yr 830 lb cow w/325 lb calf 1160.00.
