Mrs. Eula Emma (Sipes) Fisher, 93, of Monett, passed away on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Red Rose Inn in Cassville, Mo. She was born on Aug. 9, 1917 in Chatanooga, Okla. to William and Phidella (Metzer) Sipes. She was united in marriage to Temple George Fisher on Aug. 7, 1938 in Pittsburg, KS. He preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 2002.
Eula retired as a beautician. She was a member of the Memorial Christian Church of Kansas City.
Eula is survived by two daughters: Linda and husband, Art Nolan, of Eagle Rock, MO; and Diane and husband, Steve Kanally, of San Jose, CA; four grandchildren: Karen and husband, Brad Wells, Scott and wife, Tina Nolan, Todd and wife, Debbie Pearson and Chad Pearson; eight great-grandchildren: Amanda Lee, Joseph Wells, Jacob Nolan, Michael Nolan, Lindsey Nolan, Derrick Pearson, Amber Pearson and Brianna Pearson; and one great-great-grandchild: Joseph Wells.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 at the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS with Rev. Kevin Arensman officiating.
