Missouri Weekly Hay Summary Week ending 11/12/10

Saturday, November 13, 2010

The past week brought some extreme variations in temperatures throughout
the state with some nights getting below freezing and some days in the
mid to high 70ís. Rains in north Missouri are much welcomed as fall brush
and grass fires became quite the concern. Many areas of the state even
found themselves in a burn warning due to dry conditions. Hay movement
remains slow other than some hay moving in the southeast. State wide hay
supply is moderate, currently demand is light, and hay prices are steady.
