Mrs. Mary Ann (Clapper) Clark, age 91, of Monett, passed away on Friday morning at Benchmark Monett. She was born on June 25, 1919 in Ritchey, MO to John and Mary Ann (Jashinback) Clapper. She was united in marriage to Eugene Clark in Miami, OK in the fall of 1969. To this union six children were born.
Mary retired as an assembler at the shoe factory. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene along with two sons: David Foster, of Pierce City and Roger Clark, of Sioux City, Iowa; three daughters: Barbara Severson, of Batavia, Ill; April and Glenda Reed, of Sioux City, Iowa; one sister: Louise Clapper, of Monett; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Alfred Clark; eight brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 7, 2010 at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 8, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery near Monett.
