Monett has won four of its last five matches, includeing a 25-21, 25-19 win over East Newton Tuesday night.
"The girls have really stepped up their intensity," said Cubs Head Coach Shyrah Perry. "They are starting to believe in each other and apply what we are practicing to game situations."
Monett was led by Mattie Schmidt's 10 kills and 10 digs. Amanda McKinney added 13 digs and Hunter Glouse had nine kills.
"We were able to get the momentum in our favor last night," Perry added "We extended rallies and played great defense."
