Receipts: 837 Last Week: 789 Last Year: 531
Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 2.00-3.00 lower and the bulk
of slaughter bulls sold 4.00-5.00 lower. Packer buyers reported money had been
taken off meat this past weekend correlating to lower live prices today. A
couple herd reductions were included in the offering providing a moderate
supply of bred cows and a light to moderate supply of cow/calf pairs. Supply
was heavy and demand moderate for slaughter classes.
