Mrs. Betty Lou (Stubbs) Arnold, 84, of Monett, passed away at home on Monday, Sept. 13, 2010. She was born June 23, 1926 in Salem, Mo to Elmer and Lula (Hamilton) Stubbs.
She was united in marriage to Robert Arnold on Nov. 11, 1945. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2005.
Betty was a homemaker and member of the Faith Church of Monett.
Betty is survived by two daughters: Sandy Albert, of Knoxville, Tenn. and Roberta Valencia, of Monett, Mo.; one brother: Edward Stubbs, and wife, Vicky, of Wichita, Kan.; one sister: Nora Dean Montgomery, and husband, Bill, of Monett; six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband and parents, one brother, John Stubbs and two sisters, Maxine Kackley and Edith Mackey.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 16, 2010 at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Services will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 at the funeral home with Rev. Danny Evans and Rev. Arnold Ray Evans officiating.
