Missouri Weekly Hay Summary Week ending 09/17/10

Wet weather kept farmers out of the fields for most of the week. A slight cool 
spell with a few foggy mornings hint that fall is just around the corner. There 
has been a few loads of hay being sold but, as is typical in the state, few beef 
interest will come into the market until snow flies. Dairy hay continues to see 
pressure given the price of milk. The supply of hay is moderate, demand light to 
moderate, and prices steady. Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay
