Lady Eagles defeat College Heights in softball action

The Purdy Lady Eagles defeated College Heights 13-0 Monday night.

"The girls played real well," Lady Eagles' Head Coach Jeff Swadley said. "They hit the ball and ran the bases aggressively."

Carlee Hall got the win, pitching five innings, allowing four hits and striking out six.

Brooke Swadley was two for three with a triple, and Addy Roller was two for three with a double.The Lady Eagles had a season high eight stolen bases.

Last Saturday, in the Crowder College Tournament the Lady Eagles went 1-2.

They beat Strafford 8-5, and fell to East Newton, 6-3 and Reeds Springs, 7-6.

The Lady Eagles will be in action Friday night as they host Wheaton.

"This game has decided the conference champion for the last three years," Swadley said. "The community does a wonderful job of supporting this team, and we would like to see a large crowd Friday."
