Lady Cubs tennis falls to Nevada

The Monett Lady Cubs tennis team fell to the Nevada Tigers, 4-5, in Tuesday night's action.

"Our girls played well," said Lady Cubs' Head Coach Bob Crain. "They just came up short one game."

Lady Cubs' Nurpa Desai, Darian Shields and Kerry Tinklepaugh won their respective singles matches, 8-4, 8-5 and 8-1.

In doubles, the duo of Carrie Robbins and Katelyn Sperandio were winners at 8-3.

The Lady Cubs will be in action Friday night at Springfield Greenwood.
