Physician retires after long career Dr. Andres Apostol is retiring at the end of the month after practicing medicine in Monett for 39 years. His office at Cox Monett Hospital is filled with photos of family, who he plans to spend more time with in his retirement. A reception in Dr. Apostol's honor is planned for Saturday, Sept. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church parish hall.
