Clarence Junior Wuellner, age 91, of Monett, Mo., passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010 at Missouri Veteran's Home in Mt. Vernon, Mo.
Clarence Junior Wuellner was born August 5, 1918 in Stotts City, Mo. to the late Clarence Wuellner and Buda Hill Wuellner. He graduated from Pierce City High School in 1935.
He served in the United States Navy during WWII on the U.S.S. Tinsman. He retired from Union Electric in 1973.
He was united in marriage to Dorothy (Carl) Wuellner November 13, 1938. To this union survive 3 children, Georgeanna Wormington and husband Tom of Monett, Mo.; Larry Wuellner and wife, Susan of Lake St. Louis, Mo., and Margaret Kay Underwood of Joplin. Six Grandchildren survive: Kirk and Jared Wormington of Monett, Laurie McCrosky of Willard, Missouri, Christa Clifton, Houston, Texas, Julie Scott, Sylvania, Alabama and Andrew Underwood of Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Eleven great grandchildren survive. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of his life.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2010 at Zion United Church of Christ Cemetery with Dr. Bill Cox officiating. Memorials may be made to Zion United Church of Christ Cemetery.
