Barry Co. search warrants lead to seven arrests

Barry County Sheriff's deputies, the Missouri State Highway Patrol SWAT team and the Southwest Missouri Drug Task Force arrested seven people while serving a search warrant on June 4. Additional arrests in the case followed, including one on Tuesday.

Officers arrested JR Barnes, 32, of Seligman, for allegedly receiving stolen property. Emily Barnes, 24, of Seligman, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Clarence King, 42, of Seligman, was charged with receiving stolen property.

In addition, Kyler Snoderly, 27, of Garfield, and Jennifer Kirkpatrick, 26, of Rogers, Ark., were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Holly Jerrell, 26, of Noel, and William Miles, 31, of Bella Vista, Ark., were arrested and later released with charges pending.

According to a statement released by Sheriff Mick Epperly's office, drugs, money and stolen property were recovered.

On June 10, officers following leads from the June 4 search warrant arrested Kayla Tate, 19, of Cassville for alleged second degree burglary and stealing. On June 15, officers arrested Justin Guilkey, 29, of Seligman, for alleged second degree burglary and stealing.

JR Barnes, Emily Barnes and Clarence King remain in the county jail. Snoderly was released on $10,000 bond on June 14. Kickpatrick was released on $10,000 bond on June 8. Tate is also still in the county jail in lieu of bond. Bond has not yet been set for Guilkey.
