The second annual Ozarks Music Festival, featuring regional rock bands, has been scheduled for Saturday, June 19, one mile north of Pierce City on Highway 97.
Ten bands are scheduled to play, according to organizer Rusty Morris. The music will begin at 10 a.m. and run until at least 11 p.m.
Line-up for bands includes: Devoted at 10 a.m.; Abbie Benton and the Eskimo Girls at 11:30 a.m.; Justin Colvard and the Taste of Texas at 1 p.m.; Don Collins and Firecreek at 2:30 p.m.; Sarah Dunn and Sundown at 4 p.m.; Falsely Accused at 5:30 p.m.; Sun After Set at 7 p.m. Gunshot Lizzy at 8:30 p.m.; and Head Change at 10 p.m.
The concert venue is located a quarter mile north of the Pierce City First Baptist Church. Bands will perform under an outdoor tent. Gates open at 9 a.m. Admission is free, and plenty of parking is available on the grounds.
"Just come out and have a good time," Morris said.
In addition, Morris announced there will be a cruise-in with an open invitation extended to local car buffs to show off their vehicles.
