Area baseball players earn spot on All-Ozark 7 Conference team

Southwest's Josh Hartin was announced as the Player of the Year when the Ozark 7 Conference released its 2010 All-Conference baseball list. Purdy placed the most players on the All-Conference squads with seven. Both Southwest and Wheaton had six players recognized as the conference tri-champions dominated the voting. Wheaton's Kevin Schlessman was honored as the Coach of the Year.

Individal All-Ozark 7 honors are listed below.

First team: Tyler Ferguson, Southwest sophomore; Levi Roberts, Southwest senior; Landon Terry, Purdy junior; Cody Hall, Purdy sophomore; Daniel Burnside, Purdy senior; James Musick, Wheaton senior; Sean Goostree, Wheaton sophomore; Blake Dilbeck, Wheaton senior; Tyler White, Exeter freshman; and Cody Stringer, Exeter junior.

Second team: Jordan Savage, Southwest sophomore; Cam McCurdy, Southwest junior; Austin Evans, Southwest junior; Riley Veith, Purdy junior; Kevin Miller, Purdy junior; Reese Stevenson, Purdy sophomore; Devon Bennett, Purdy sophomore; Justin Brattin, Exeter senior; Quentin Howell, Exeter senior; and Darren Medley, Wheaton junior.
