Mary Beck dancers to perform recital this Sunday at MSSU

"Dance is Africa" is one of the performances that will featured during Mary Beck's annual dance recital, which will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Taylor Auditorium on the Missouri Southern State University campus in Joplin. The recital will feature a variety of ballet, jazz, hip-hop and tap numbers. Self-choreographed numbers by the dance school's three graduating students, Mariah Westlin, Katelyn Hansen and Augusta Fields, will be performed.

In addition, Alex Bahl, Brooke Cornell, Katie Kaiser, Bridges Madison, Katie Rutherford, Sophie Mueller, Kaelin Johnson-Roark, Sydney Williams, Kaleyanna Dohmen, Harriett Meyer and Carley Klewer, who studied dance at the Dance Masters of America Workshop held at the Oklahoma City University this fall, will be performing.

The public is invited to attend the annual dance recital. No admission is charged.
