Ray Dean Frieze, of Verona, Mo. son of John Raymond and Alice (Hardin) Frieze, was born on April 4, 1939 at Viola, Mo. and passed away on May 19, 2010, at Cox Monett at the age of 71.
Ray was a lifelong resident of the area, a factory worker and farmer.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; ex-wife, Lois Frieze; one brother: Donnie Frieze; five sisters: Loretta Frieze, Esther Hagar, Audrey Wilson, Muriel Pendergrass and Mildred Eskew.
Ray is survived by five sons: Billy Frieze, of Monett; Darrell Frieze, of Monett; Richard Frieze, of Monett; Antonio "Tony" Frieze, of Verona and Steve Frieze, of Willard; two daughters: Susan Phillips, of Monett and Sandra Culver, of Verona; one brother: Carl Frieze, of Monett; two sisters, Connie Reser, of Crane and Juanita Smith, of Marionville; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 24 at Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home in Crane, Mo. with Rodney McCann officiating. Burial was in Yocum Pond Cemetery in Reeds Spring, under the direction of Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home.
Visitation was held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 23 at the funeral home.
