Juanita J. Haworth, age 87, of Monett, died at 10:02 a.m on Sunday, May 2, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin following a short illness.
Juanita was born on Feb. 16, 1923 in Monett, the daughter of Ross and Lela (Campbell) Walton. She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended area schools. In February of 1964 she married Floy Haworth in Newton County. He preceded her in death in 2004. Juanita was a homemaker. Juanita was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness Church in Monett.
Survivors include her children: Donna Hart and husband, Bill, of Spokane, Wash.; Patty Gilbreath and husband, Mike, of Van Nuys, Calif.; Janet Rosier, of Monett; Mary Cypret and husband, David, of Hurley; Sue Doty and John Ricketts, of Monett; and Amy Haworth and Clint McCaslin, of Monett; sister: Joyce Walton, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; step-mother: Mildred Walton, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and son, Mike Chambliss Hepler.
