Skate Park to host contest on May 15

In a field of 10 teams at the Nixa Relays on Tuesday, the Monett women placed second with 94 points, behind Republic, which had 116 points. Host Nixa was third with 86.

Monett's Madison Carlin was the squad's lone gold medalist. She finished first in the 100-meter high hurdles with a time of 17.02.

Winning silver for the Lady Cubs were: Sara Hammond, 300 high hurdles; Jennifer Frazier, shot; and Tiffany Carver, long jump.

Third place finishers were: Millie Fulton, 200 dash; Carlin, 300 high hurdles; Frazier, discus; Amanda McKinney, triple jump; and Sophie Fulton, Raigan Ratliff, Hammond and Fulton, 4x200 relay.

The Cubs track teams are at the Bulldog Relays in Carl Junction on Monday.
