Receipts: 424 Last Week: 317 Last Year: 425
Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 lower and
slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00 higher. A high percent of the slaughter
cow offering was dairy cows. The supply of bred cows and cow/calf pairs
was very light. Supply was light to moderate and demand good for
slaughter classes.

Bred Cows: Medium and Large 1-2 2 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd
and 3rd stage 950-1310 lbs 710.00-850.00; short and solid mouth to aged
3rd stage 1090-1135 lbs 500.00-590.00. Large 1-2 6 yrs to short and solid
mouth 2nd and 3rd stage couple pkgs. 1500-1530 lbs 820.00-835.00. Medium
1-2 2-6 yrs few 2nd and 3rd stage 800-1020 lbs 475-675.00; broken mouth
3rd stage pkg. 935 lbs 425.00.
Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1-2 6 yrs to short and solid mouth
1125-1200 lb cows w/120-185 lb calves 810.00-950.00; short and solid mouth
to aged 1075-1135 lb cows w/babies to 175 lb calves 685.00-700.00.
