Receipts: 1210 One Week Ago: 111 Year Ago: 400
Compared to last week, there was a much larger and better test this
week. Feeders were not well tested in last weeks weather market. There
was a quality run this week with the best test in mid-weight feeders.
Several bulls were in the run. Slaughter cows traded 1.00-2.00 lower
on a lesser quality test of cows. Cows and bulls were 8 percent of
receipts. In the feeder supply, steers and bulls were 64 percent of the
run; heifers 36 percent. Near 53 percent of feeders weighed over 600 lbs.
