Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher and
slaughter bulls sold steady to 1.00 higher. The offering included several
dispersals providing a heavy supply of cow/calf pairs. Strong slaughter
prices took a good number of bred cows, especially older cows, away from
the take-home buyers. Supply was moderate and demand very good for
slaughter classes.
