A pair of Ozark 7 teams pulled upsets to stay alive in district play on Tuesday.
| The Purdy Eagles squeezed Greenfield with commanding play in the second and third quarters to take a 68-49 victory in Class 2 District 10 boys action at Sarcoxie. Landon Terry led the Eagles with 26 points, with ample support from Devon Bennett with 13 and Cody Hall with 9. |
| Greenfield's Jordan Bryant and Jason Anderson reached double figures with 20 and 16 points respectively. |
| After a close opening period that favored Purdy 15-12, the Eagles rolled through the second quarter to take a 37-25 halftime lead and then added 8 points to the lead in the third. |
| After upsetting third-seeded Greenfield, Purdy advances to play second-seeded Marionville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. |
| The Wheaton Bulldogs toppled Jasper 63-43 in a five-seed vs. four-seed match-up and will play against top-seeded Miller in the 6 p.m. game on Thursday. Miller won a tighter than expected game with Sarcoxie, 51-42, in the matinee game on Tuesday. |
