Compared to last Wednesday, breaking and boning slaughter cows sold
2.00-4.00 lower with the greatest decline on early sales and lean cows
sold 2.00 lower while slaughter bulls sold 3.00 lower. A high percent
of the offering was slaughter cows. Receipt were heavy despite extremely
muddy conditions out on the farm. Most bred cows and cow/calf pairs were
young cows. Supply was heavy and demand moderate for slaughter classes.
