David Lowery

David Lowery, 56, died on Sunday, Jan. 3, at his home. He was born on Oct. 7, 1953 in Monett, Mo. to Billy Gene and Velma Louise (Burg) Lowery.

David is survived by his mother, two daughters: Nicole and Amanda; two brothers: Freddie Lowery, of Noel, Mo. and Bill Lowery of Monett, Mo.; two sisters: Pat Arivett, of Verona, Mo. and Cheryl Yarnall, of Cassville, Mo.

David was preceded in death by his father on Sept. 17, 1995.

David had retired from Honeywell Corp. in Tucson, Ariz. as an electrical engineer. He has also served in the U.S. Air Force.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Mo. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, with Rev. Larry Lowery officiating. Burial will be at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Mo.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home.
