Alfred Box, age 87, formerly of Pierce City, died at 4:35 p.m. on Dec. 28, at the home of his niece in Purdy.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31 at the Pierce City cemetery under the direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
