According to Lawrence County Sheriff Brad DeLay, three officers with the sheriff's department worked 24 hours of overtime during the campaign and made a total of 49 traffic stops.
A total of seven citations were issued. These included three citations for driving with no insurance, one stop sign violation, two speeding violations and one hazardous moving violation. One arrest was made for driving while intoxicated.
In addition, officers issued 43 warnings during the campaign. These included 12 warnings for careless and imprudent driving, four seatbelt warnings, one warning for following too close to another vehicle, 12 for speeding, one for no child restraint, one stop sign violation and 12 warnings for other various hazardous moving violations.
Funding for the campaign was provided through a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation's Highway Safety Division.
