Danny Joe Adamson, age 51, of Monett, died on Sunday, December 13, 2009, at his home in Monett.
He was born on March 8, 1958, in Monett, to Donald Adamson Sr. and Mary Lowe.
He owned and operated a bakery business and was a school bus driver. After graduating from Hillcrest High School, Danny entered the Navy and a veteran who served in Japan. Since his wreck Danny suffered a lot through the years but now we know his suffering has ceased. Danny had the biggest heart for he always helped anyone who needed it. He was loved by all who knew him and will be surely be missed. He was a member of the Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Springfield, Mo.
He married Connie Jo Gill on Dec. 15, 1979 in Springfield, Mo. and she survives.

Adamson and Marla Gardner, of Monett, Christopher Adamson and wife, Jennifer, of Monett, and Nicholas Adamson, of Monett; one brother: Donald Adamson Jr. and wife, Rhonda; two sisters: Pam Sherman and Darla Denney and husband, Brian: brother-in-laws: Ronnie and Connie Sue Gill, of Springfield, Mo. and John and Sue Gill, of Sprinfield, Mo: three grandchildren: Danielle Kameron "lil man", and Tyson: a large number of nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends and one angel to come.|
He was preceded in death by his father, his brother-in-law, Tom Thomason: his god son, J.D. Meckley: and Connie's parents, Floyd and Betty Jo Gill.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Chapel with Rev. Calvin Parrish officiating. Interment will be at Monett I.O.O. F. Cemetery.
