|Clifford Rex Loveland, age 92, died on Monday, December 7, 2009, at 11:25 a.m. at Monett Health Care.||He was born December 19, 1916, in Bruner, Mo. to Joel and Mary (Teague) Loveland. He was united in marriage to Imogene Fisher on November 1, 1958 in Monett, Mo. and she survives.|
Clifford attended the Chapel of Grace and retired from the Monett Police Department where he was an officer for 12 years. One of the joys of his life was playing his guitar and singing in area churches and nursing homes.
Along with his wife, Clifford is survived by two sons, Gerald Loveland, of Sparta, Mo. and Steve Fisher, of Mt. Vernon, Mo.; and one special niece Marian Gripka; and was blessed with several grandchildren.
Clifford was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Joe Loveland and Mike Fisher; four brothers, Gerald Loveland, Ray Loveland, Cleo Loveland and Van Loveland.
Visitation will be held at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett on Wednesday, December 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at Bennett-Wormington at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2009 with Jimmy Copley and Ronnie Howerton officiating. Burial will follow at Monett I.O.O.F.
