Eldora Keith

Eldora Columbia Gentry Young Keith, age 97, of Monett, MO, died Thursday at 10:35 p.m. November 12, 2009, at her home in Monett, MO. Mrs. Keith was a school teacher for many years, and in partnership with Tommy Young Motor Co. in Monett.

She was born in Butterfield, MO, on May 19, 1912, the daughter of Martin and Dora (Hadley) Gentry. Mrs. Keith was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Young, in 1989, and her son, Jim Young, in 2006.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Keith; two step-daughters, Karol Mayer, Neosho, MO, and Barbara Lyles, New Hope, MN; seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Lakin Funeral Home, Pierce City, MO. Services for Mrs. Keith will be held at a late date following cremation.
