Booster Club, Coaches Present Monett Sports Awards

Four-year participation awards were presented this week by the Monett Booster Club to athletes in the fall sports of volleyball and softball. In addition, special coaches awards were presented to athletes in the sports of tennis, softball and volleyball.

Receiving the Booster Club four-year participation awards for competing in softball all four years of high school were Tiffany Carver, EmiLee Davis, Bailey Wormington, Aubrey Lemaster and Megan Wiseman.

Receiving the Booster Club four-year participation awards in volleyball were Brooke Beckwith, Chelsey Abramovitz and Keli Cornell.

Coach Bob Crain presented tennis awards to: Mille Fulton for most valuable player and outstanding doubles team; Brittany Huebner for most dedicated player and outstanding doubles team; Nrupa Desai for most improved player; Katelyn Sperandio for most improved player; and Theresa Mangler for team spirit player.

Coach Shyrah Boyle presented volleyball awards to: Amanda McKinney for digs leader; Maddie Schmidt for assists leader; Chelsey Abramovitz for kills leader; Keli Cornell for blocks leader; Madison Carlin for aces leader; Tandi Glouse for assisted blocks leader; Jenny Frazier for Lady Cub of the Year; and Brooke Beckwith for academics.

Coach Ty Goetz presented softball awards to: Bailey Wormington for most runs batted in; Tiffany Carver for most runs scored and Defensive Player of the Year; EmiLee Davis for most hits, most stolen bases, highest batting average, Offensive Player of the Year and most valuable player; Raigan Ratliff and Josee Krueger for Newcomers of the Year; Paige Marney for Defensive Player of the Year; Megan Wiseman for Lady Cub of the Year; and Aubrey Lemaster for most improved player.
