Chris Cooney, 29, of Purdy, formerly of Aurora, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, in his home.

He was born to C.M. and Nancy Stacey Cooney on July 9, 1980 in Woodland, Calif.

Survivors include his father; his wife, Miracle; one son, Christopher G. Cooney; one daughter, Faith Cooney; and his sister, Carrie Cooney.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 20 in the Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Maple Park Cemetery.
