Charles A. Weaver, age 69, of Monett, Mo. passed away at 5:35 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2009 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin following a one year illness.
Charles was born July 13, 1940 in Pierce City, Mo. and had lived in Monett most of his adult life. He was the owner of Weaver Construction Co. in Monett. He was a member of the New Site Baptist Church in Monett and was a lifetime member of the N.R.A.
Charles married Sue Arnold January 9, 1960 in Neosho, Mo. and she survives. Additional survivors include one son, Tony Weaver and his wife Jannette, Purdy, Mo., one granddaughter, Steffi Weaver, two brothers, J.D. Haase, Neosho, Mo., and Eugene Haase, Wheaton, Mo., two sisters, Alice Canfield, and Patricia Blankenship, both of Sarcoxie, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Jean Endicott Haase, his in-laws, Mom and Pop Arnold, two sisters, Doris Holden, and Barbara Jean Surrat, and three brothers, Ed, Danny and Don Haase.
|Mr. Weaver's wishes were to be cremated. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Oakwood Cemetery near Neosho, Mo. In lieu of flowers the family has requested sympathy cards mailed to 400 W. Main St. Monett, Mo. 65708.||Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin, Mo.|
